About Us
Our Story
Our years of experience and involvement in the ranching industry led us to launch Field to Fork in 2023, which provides fresh meat directly to consumers. Our decision to sell directly to consumers is based on a few of our beliefs. First, we believe our meat is the best you can find anywhere! Second, as busy families and generational ranchers, one of our core values is family connectedness. In a world where things are fast-paced, family time, which includes sharing healthy, quality meals, has been replaced with eating food that is fast and inexpensive, and quite honestly, not good for us! Third, we believe in being connected to our nation through our roots.
As stewards of the land, we believe that everything is connected and work hard to ensure that our fields and pastures sustain the food we need for the citizens of our country. We believe in doing our part to ensure that our country has the ability as a nation to produce enough beef to feed ourselves without being reliant on low-quality beef imported from foreign countries! That’s right! The majority of the beef you find in stores today is being imported from foreign countries and repackaged as a product of the USA.
At Field to Fork, you will know where and how your food is raised and be able to trust the quality and care given to the animals that provide it. This will give you peace of mind that you are providing the most healthy and nutritious source of protein available to your family while also ensuring that your dollar goes to American ranchers who play a vital role in our nation’s food supply.
We believe that the more we are connected to our food source, the more it brings us together- as families, communities, and a nation. For that reason, not only do we provide the best-tasting, humanely raised, regenerative source of meat you can find anywhere, but we also believe our way of life will inspire you to slow down and put our nation, communities, and our families first for the betterment of each other. From the high mountain meadows and river pastures that our beef is raised on, you can feel good every time you sit down to feed your family with our Idaho ranch-raised beef.
All our best from Field to Fork — Where we would love to feed your family!

Beyond our professional endeavors, we are passionate about the outdoors and the activities that keep us engaged with nature—ranching, working with horses, rafting, fishing, hunting, and hiking. These pursuits are more than pastimes; they are central to our way of life and values.
At the core of everything we do is a belief in quality living—building strong family bonds, fostering lasting friendships, and contributing positively to our nation and world. We are committed to being responsible stewards of the land, helping others cultivate purpose and fulfillment, and connecting with those who share our vision.
Josh & Jessica
Josh and Jessica are blessed with a mixed family of 13 children. Four are still at home, one is serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, four are married, two are engaged, and two are working on it. We have two grandchildren, with one on the way. Josh and Jessic, and their family, own and operate the McCa, Idaho ranch. This is where the cows spend the summer and fall grazing the high mountain meadows and avoiding the heat. (Jealous, right)
The McCall ranch is prime grazing for the cattle and is also home to an impressive herd of cow-horse-bred quarter horses, which you can see at joneslandandlivestock.com. We produce our hay, which feeds the horses during the long winter months. During the winter, between feedings and breaking ice, we like to take the kids and hit the ski slopes for a few turns. During the spring, we battle bouts of cabin fever and mud fever as we try to get our colts started and get the ranch ready for the cows.
The cows show up here in June. We spend our summers chasing cows around the mountains, training horses, cutting hay, mending fences, and trying to catch up on the 6 months of work we couldn't get done under 3 feet of snow. In the evening, we help the kids with their 4-H animals, going to horse shows or rodeos, camping, hiking, swimming in the lake, or mountain biking. In the Fall, we do much of the same as the summer without the added help of the kids who have gone back to school, with the addition of gathering cows off the mountain, chasing kids’ sports teams around, and bracing for a long winter. We often feel tired, but we always feel very blessed!
